Lots of kingfisher sightings throughout the day, this week particularly on the Water of Leith, at Craiglockhart, Saughton Park, Roseburn & Dean Village.
Foxes still being seen in the early morning. The fox photos below were taken around 11am but the yawn says it all – must have been a long night!
Lots of female goosanders around Roseburn Park, at the moment, and plenty dippers all along the Water of Leith.
With the leaves falling from the trees, many of our smaller birds are clearly visible – keep your eye out for wrens, blue tits, greats tits, coal tits, goldfinches & chaffinches.
