Many cemeteries in Edinburgh are full of wildlife. Edinburgh’s most famous cemetery is Greyfriars Kirkyard – fabulous for the name spotting Harry Potter character but I wouldn’t necessarily suggest it as a wildlife location.
Some noteable cemeteries, worth visiting for wildlife are Warriston, Dalry, North Merchiston & Newington Cemeteries to name a few.
Saughton Cemetery often has woodpeckers and a multitude of garden birds that can easily be viewed from the Water of Leith Walkway.
