Spent the last day of May on a boat on Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan, photographing white tailed eagles.
It was an amazing experience, in a stunning setting! Below are some shots from the day – the weather was mixed, which really helped with the lighting to get some different shots. I was a bit soggy at the end but couldn’t have been happier with the day.
The trip was run by Loch Shiel Cruises. Whilst they do wildlife trips up and down the loch, this trip was a private charter for 14-16 photographers. It was organaised by Mark from Penny Hedge & Norman from Waterside Hide & Allday Ospreys . They’re doing a trip at the end of each month until Oct, so get in touch with them, if you fancy seeing some white tailed eagles in stunning surroundings.
