Photo Exhibition at the Water of Leith Visitor Centre – 1 November 2022

November 1, 2022

I’m delighted to announce that I have a photo exhibition of 45x framed prints, on display at the Water of Leith Visitor Centre, Lanark Rd, Edinburgh.

The exhibition is called ‘Photos From The Walkway‘ and shows a variety of wildlife life that can be seen along the river.  The photos hang on four walls, split along 2 corridors – the first corridor you will find birds that live on the water and in the woodlands, along the banks.  The second corridor you’ll find the mammals, with the forth wall being a dedicated ‘Otter Wall’.

These corridors are roughly the same width as the Water of Leith walkway, so it will give you an idea of what space I have to work with, as I photograph wildlife on the river.  The intention of this exhibition is to show you what an incredible variety of urban wildlife lives on this amazing river, as it weaves its way right through our city – I hope this comes across.

The exhibition is free and the opening times are the same as the Water of Leith Visitor Centre’s hours: 10am – 4pm (Mon to Sun).  The visitor centre has loos and a café and is a great stop-off point along the walkway.  Whilst the exhibition is free, please grab a tea/coffee at the Visitor Centre, as this is how the Water of Leith Conservation Trust benefits.

Thanks to Helen Brown for use of the photos below.
