I headed down to Balgone Estate, just outside North Berwick, in East Lothian, this week, with a view to photographing sunflowers.
I suspect we may have been a week or so too early, as most of the sunflowers hadn’t opened up yet. We had amazing weather, very warm with no wind. The sunflowers that had opened up, certainly dazzled in the sunshine – I am not sure that the shots that I took, did them justice. However, this first attempt at photographing these iconic flowers, will act as a benchmark for me to improve on.
