The most amazing week on the Isle of Mull – 7 days of glorious sunshine in March…who would have thought?
Ah! Almost forgot… there was 3 hours of rain & hailstones & a massive temperature drop from 12 degrees to zero degrees! Unfortunately, this was during the only trip that I had organised… The White Tailed Sea Eagles trip on the Mull Charters boat.
Whilst there was initial disappointment as we set sail, it all turned out right, as the first sea eagle appeared – nine sea eagle dives in a total of 3 hours – just fantastic!
I spent 12 hours photographing everyday & spent another 4 hours each evening looking to see if I had taken any shots that were in focus 😀! Thankfully I got a few (see below) – there are more on my Scottish wildlife site – www.TomKelly.co.uk – I was shattered by the end of the 7 days but I got the ferry back, with the best feeling in the world & the biggest smile on my face!
