– Wildlife on the Water of Leith – JULY 2026 –
During July, the Water of Leith was alive. Kingfishers prepared for second broods, more roe deer kids appeared along the river, and cygnets and goslings were nearly fully grown. Buzzards and tawny owls hunted the banks—but nothing compared to the incredible catch made by one of the foxes. Enjoy!
