My old rugby pal Scott Hastings chairs his local residents association and asked me to do a talk at their recent AGM in April.
After our rugby days, Scott & I had played a lot of golf over the years but as I can no longer play golf, Scott & I have recently taken to doing walks along the Water of Leith, Botanics, etc. As the Warriston residents are surrounded by wildlife hotspots such as Warriston Cemetery, the Water of Leith & the Botanics, Scott twisted my arm to show some of my photos and discuss how I got these shots at his AGM.
I do hope everyone left, feeling that they could spot more wildlife, more frequently. Thanks again to Scott for inviting me along.
Here are a selection of pictures from that evening’s talk
